Das Würzburger U&D Festival

Wir sind ein faires, diverses, kreatives und barrierefreies Festival.
Das UMSONST & DRAUSSEN Festival Würzburg bietet eine Plattform für Initiativen, Kreative und Künstler*innen aller Art. Es treten bis zu 80 Bands aller Genres auf, auf ca. sechs Bühnen mit bis zu 80.000 Besuchenden. Über vier Tage hinweg wird unser Festivalgelände eine Spielwiese, direkt am Main mit Blick in die Weinberge. Das U&D ist das größte und älteste Festival dieser Art. Der Name ist Programm, daher können wir zwar einen niederschwelligen Zugang bieten, aber leider keine marktüblichen Gagen. Allerdings ist es uns eine besondere Herzensangelegenheit, allen Artists eine faire Aufwandsentschädigung zu zahlen, nach einem transparenten System. Vor allem aber bieten wir ein Rundumsorglos-Paket mit Wohlfühlatmosphäre und bereiten euch somit wortwörtlich eine ideale Bühne für euren Auftritt.
Wir haben ca. 70 % unserer Slots für lokale und regionale Bands reserviert.
Alle Menschen sind herzlich willkommen, FLINTA*, BIPoC, LGBTQIA*, mit Behinderung, von Newcomer bis Mainact, oder von experimentelle bis kinderfreundliche Shows, wir freuen uns über alle Einsendungen!

Anfang Februar geben wir allen Bewerbern für 2024 Bescheid, ob es geklappt hat.
Mit Eurem Engagement fördert IHR eine bunte und inspirierende Kulturlandschaft,

The Würzburg U&D Festival

We are a fair, diverse, creative and barrier-free festival.
The UMSONST & DRAUSSEN Festival Würzburg offers a platform for up to 80 bands of all genres, on about six stages with up to 80,000 visitors. Over four days, our festival ground becomes a playground, directly on the Main River with a view of the beautiful vineyards. The U&D is the biggest and oldest festival of its kind. Since the name is program, we can offer a low-threshold access, but unfortunately no marketable fees. However, it is a matter close to our heart to pay all artists a fair compensation, according to a transparent system. Above all, we offer an a feel-good atmosphere and thus literally prepare an ideal stage for your performance.
We have reserved about 70% of our slots for local and regional bands.
All people are welcome, FLINTA*, BIPoC, LGBTQIA*, with disability, from newcomer to mainact, or from experimental to kid-friendly shows, we are looking forward to all submissions!
We prefer you to fill out our online form - it's only a few clicks!
But the postal way is also possible.

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THAT date will automatically be considered for 2025.
